What's wrong with you my daughter on this day of my daughters wedding?
And there we go:) My first wedding mission! I must say it was a stressful day for me (but propably less than for groom and bride..:) the weather couldn't make its mind up, it was shiny, cloudy, rainy, then shiny again, which results in setting up the camera every 5 seconds and everything around is like a whirlpool and there are moments an seconds to catch ! Ufff......I hope I did a good job and wish the couple all the best! People say that love is blind and marriage is an eye-opener. Well I hope your marriage will show you how beautiful a life together can be...:)

Studio Work
Working in a studio is not always an easy task. The lights, the camera settings, the model that moves all the time ( ADHD or has been a cat in previous life;) Kasia (pictured) has never had a photo session, so that was her first time as a model and I must say she did very very good. I hope I did as well;) (as it wasn't my first time as photographer;) Apparently a camera can photograph a thought...It's better than a paragraph of sweet polemic...Well in that case thank you Kasia for the great conversation we had:)

Tatry
I met this guy at work, who claimed that there is no mountains in Poland. He said that these mountains don't belong to us because they happen to be on a border with our neighbours and I think that it's like saying that England doesn't really have any seaside as there are other countries that the waters could belong to...;) Anyways ...My pictures are my proof and whoever ever decides to visit my beautiful country I have only one thing to say: You won't regret it:)

Dogs have owners, cats have stuff.
I find the animals very difficult to photograph, they move all the time, they don't listen to you (especially cats!) and they're certainly not interested in having nice portraits of them hanging on the wall. Luckily this small cat found some pleasure in lying for about 10 seconds on my lap (who wouldn't ;) so I had time to snappy snap this lovely creature. I know few people who hate cats, but I guess they will just come back as mice in their next lives;)

Nokia
My dog's called Nokia:) Maybe a silly name but suits her so much:) As she's connecting people! She shows all her teeth and sneezes(!!!) when happy:) and looks so sad when I leave Poland and go back to England ...looks through the gate...and creates a perfect opportunity for me to take a picture. Nokia can speak for herself and for me. We all hate farewells but looks like the dogs know better. With love for all animals- Joanna:)

Colours In The Garden
Hello everyone!
I'm so glad, that the weather is so nice, perfect time for all photographers!
I should propably consider myself the lucky one, as I don't need to go to work ( oh well I propably would if it wasn't because of cancer:) But the cancer doesn't stop me to do what I love to do! I do really love this time of year, when everything wakes up and the trees and flowers are coming to life. People wake up also....to barbeques:)Enjoy everyone!

The spring is here!
Hello!
I didn't manage to get my camera outside today( my lazy bones enjoyed the sun in the garden), but to bring us some sun ( you never know how long the nice weather will last in England, it's good to have some spare sun..;) I'm posting some pictures from places, at which I wish I would be now....
Pictures are from two places I really miss. The first two are South Africa, sun, beautiful landscape and photo opportunity every five steps! Both photographs are from Cape Town, which I'm sure is one of the most scenic places on earth. Me and my camera had a very good time there ( my stomach also, never ate so much seafood in my life!) . Just before my trip to this picturesque country I bought myself the 17-40mm canon lens, which helped me to frame all this awesomeness of these views.
The third picture is my small hometown Bojanowo. First love, first kiss, first broken arm, first stage-fright, first taken picture- all that happened here. It's good to find your childhood memories in secret corners of the town.
The picture was taken on one of my visits to Poland with my old camera Sony DSC-P200, that I had before I bought myself a DSLR. Small Sony was my good companion for many years and no one will ever tell it doesn't take good pictures.
People say it takes more than camera equipment to take a good photograph, you need to have a "Good Eye". I'm about to find out if I have one...
Join me in my way to find out if I'm a good photographer! All opinions are very welcome!:)
Joanna
